The Forgotten Fairground is a creation of Matt Gough, who together with Andy Bush has created an innovative and fresh projects. Initially based on an integration of Jazz with contemporary dance they have created something quite special. In addition to the films they have issued the music as downloadable and vinyl albums. The creation of the visuals for this new film saw artist and filmmaker, Larry Bush expanding and riffing on his practice of painting and etching directly onto 16mm film with coloured inks and chemicals. These same techniques being applied to 35mm glass slides and carousel projection.
