Our mission
We aim to provide high quality musical education for students of all ages and abilities who play brass instruments. Young children already obtain huge benefits from learning to play a musical instrument, but we believe that adults and players who have left school should also have access to similar opportunities and reap the same benefits.
We want to encourage all students to acknowledge and realise their potential to achieve their own personal musical goals through individual tuition and participation in ensembles run by the school. Most of all we want to make sure that all our students are inspired and ultimately enjoy their music making
Our ethos
As a teacher Chris always looks to inspire his pupils. He is currently the low brass specialist at Elgar School of Music in Worcester but teaches the full range of brass instruments from Trumpets to Tubas, from beginner to advanced and to students aged from seven to post retirement. He also offers music theory.
He also takes private pupils and says “I enjoy teaching all ages and abilities, but my particular specialism is for advanced students who wish to develop their skills beyond grade 8 or are looking for a career in music.”
For individuals
We offer private tuition for individuals and our students include children and adults, beginner to advanced. We can teach either at our own premises or those of the student, and teach from beginners to advanced players.
